L’ouverture internationale, il y a mille façons de la vivre au Bachelor de TBS Education ! Durant leurs 3 ans de scolarité, tous les étudiants ont d’abord l’opportunité d’expérimenter une véritable immersion à l’étranger au travers du semestre d’expatriation en 2e année. A ce jour, plus de 120 destinations sont proposées dans une quarantaine de pays, et TBS Education poursuit son développement international. Les derniers accords signés ouvrent à nos étudiants les portes de 7 nouvelles universités et écoles partenaires : University of Johannesburg (Afrique du Sud), Vaasa University (Finlande), Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (Allemagne), Norwegian School of Economics NHH (Norvège), Babson College (Etats-Unis) et PUCPR (Brésil).
Bien sûr, ce programme de mobilité ambitieux reste dépendant du contexte international, mais quels que soient les aléas rencontrés ces deux dernières années, TBS Education a tout mis en œuvre pour proposer des solutions alternatives aux étudiants qui ne pouvaient pas partir là où ils avaient prévu de le faire. « Nous participons avec les autres grandes écoles de management aux instances qui réfléchissent aux meilleures solutions pour nos étudiants. Depuis deux ans, nous avons réussi à maintenir la mobilité en nous adaptant. Le fait d’avoir des campus à Barcelone et à Casablanca est un véritable atout », explique Florence Ramillon, directrice des relations internationales et du développement. En effet, la mobilité intercampus a pu apporter une alternative efficace, tout comme la mise en place de semestre d’échange virtuel où les étudiants pouvaient suivre en distanciel les cours proposés par les universités partenaires.
Ces solutions ont d’ailleurs permis de proposer aujourd’hui des formules de mobilité virtuelle ou de mobilité hybride dans lesquelles les étudiants du Bachelor partent dans la destination qu’ils ont choisie, mais peuvent avoir des cours en ligne. Quant à la mobilité sur les différents campus de TBS Education, elle reste une option ouverte chaque année avec des parcours spécifiques comme à Casablanca : Doing business in emerging markets en B2.
Il existe d’autres voies d’accès à l’international, comme les stages à l’étranger, mais aussi les doubles diplômes, parcours d’excellence qui permet aux meilleurs étudiants de faire leur 3e année dans une université partenaire, et ainsi d’être diplômés à la fois du Bachelor et de l’université concernée. Pour l’instant, TBS Education a concrétisé des partenariats pour 5 doubles diplômes à l’étranger, et a l’ambition de multiplier les opportunités d’ici à 2025.
Enfin, la dimension internationale ne se limite pas à la mobilité, mais elle irrigue l’ensemble de la pédagogie du Bachelor. TBS Education offre à ses étudiants un environnement multiculturel avec plus de 45% d’étudiants et 50% de professeurs étrangers. Parmi les diverses possibilités, ils suivent de nombreux cours en anglais ou en espagnol, et peuvent même choisir des parcours 100% en anglais.
There are a thousand ways to enjoy an international experience with the TBS Education Bachelor’s degree! During their three years of study, all students have the opportunity to experience a period of immersion in another country with the semester abroad in the second year. Today, students have a choice of over 120 destinations in some forty countries, and TBS Education is continuing its international expansion. The latest agreements give our students access to seven new partner universities and schools: University of Johannesburg (South Africa), University of Vaasa (Finland), Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (Germany), Norwegian School of Economics NHH (Norway), Babson College (USA) and PUCPR (Brazil).
This ambitious mobility program naturally depends on the international context, but regardless of the events of the past two years, TBS Education has done its best to provide alternative solutions for students who could not go where they had originally planned. “Together with other leading management schools, we are part of the boards that try to find the best solutions for our students. Over the past two years, we have managed to maintain student mobility by adapting to the situation. Having campuses in Barcelona and Casablanca is a real advantage,” explains Florence Ramillon, Director of International Relations and Development. Intercampus mobility proved to be a good alternative, as was the virtual exchange semester, where students were able to follow courses offered by partner universities remotely.
These solutions have provided the basis for virtual mobility or hybrid mobility formulas in which Bachelor students are able to travel to their chosen destination as well as taking courses online. Mobility remains an option every year on the various TBS Education campuses, with specific courses as in the case of Casablanca: Doing business in emerging markets, in B2.
There are other ways of pursuing international studies, such as internships abroad, as well as with dual degrees. This program of excellence gives the best students an opportunity to spend their third year in a partner university, and thereby to graduate from both the TBS Education Bachelor program and from the university concerned. For the moment, TBS Education has established partnerships for five dual degrees outside France, and is seeking to set up many more by 2025.
Finally, the international approach is not limited to mobility alone. It encompasses the whole of the Bachelor program. TBS Education has created a multicultural environment with over 45% of students and 50% of lecturers from other countries. Students can follow a wide range of courses in English or Spanish, and can even choose programs taught entirely in English.
