Au Bachelor de TBS Education, la construction de votre projet professionnel fait partie du programme ! Tout au long de votre parcours, bénéficiez d’un accompagnement dans le cadre du dispositif Career Services. L’objectif est de vous aider à définir progressivement votre projet, en fonction de vos aspirations, votre personnalité et de vos compétences.
En 1re année, vous apprenez ainsi à mieux vous connaître et à communiquer sur vous-même. Puis en 2e année, vous prenez conscience de l’importance du réseau et commencez à développer le vôtre depuis votre classe : un moyen très efficace pour trouver le stage qui vous plaît ! Enfin en 3e année, vous réfléchissez plus profondément sur vos choix et la suite de votre parcours. Au fil du temps, chacun constitue un « e-portfolio », portefeuille de ses compétences et de ses réalisations, semblable à un site Internet personnel, alimenté par des travaux académiques, des réalisations personnelles (loisirs, bénévolat…). Vous vous constituez ainsi un véritable outil de « communication d’image personnelle », essentiel à votre employabilité.
Parce que les thématiques autour de l’orientation et de la recherche de stage nécessitent aussi des accompagnements individuels, le Career Services organise pendant les trois années d’études au Bachelor des coachings dispensés par des intervenants spécialistes de l’orientation ou du recrutement. « Ces coachings individuels ainsi que les ateliers collectifs sont intégrés à la scolarité et donnent lieu à des crédits ECTS, ce qui souligne toute l’importante que TBS Education donne à ces actions d’accompagnement », précise Florine VINCENDET, de la Direction Carrière et Talent de TBS Education.
Durant les coachings, les étudiants se présentent en 3 minutes, devant leur coach, ou via une vidéo de recrutement réalisée sous EasyRecrue. En dernière année, ils simulent un entretien d’embauche à partir d’une véritable offre d’emploi ou de stage et présentent leur E-Portfolio.
TBS Education a également créé un séminaire de téléphonie en partenariat avec l’entreprise Booge (marketing digital, formation et call center) pour familiariser les étudiants au phoning appliqué à la recherche de stage. Après une introduction théorique, apportée par des professeurs, les étudiants de B1 s’entraînent à appeler des entreprises pour se présenter et leur demander si elles recrutent des stagiaires. Au-delà de l’exercice personnel, ces ateliers menés dans une salle aménagée spécialement au sein de l’école, permettent de constituer une base de données au bénéfice de tous les étudiants du Bachelor.
Les formats s’adaptent cette année pour répondre aux contraintes sanitaires, notamment par les ateliers en distanciel et le travail en groupes réduits. Mais avec le support de l’ingénierie pédagogique, la dynamique de ces accompagnements essentiels reste tout aussi efficace.
In the TBS Education Bachelor program, defining your career plan is par for the course! Throughout your studies, you benefit from the support of the Career Services scheme. The aim is to help you gradually define your career plan according to your aspirations, your personality, and your skills.
In the first year, you learn to get to know yourself better and to communicate about yourself. Then in the second year, you become aware of the importance of networking and start to develop your own network with your classmates: a very effective way of finding an internship you like! Finally, in the third year, you reflect in more depth about your choices and what you want to do next. Over time, each student builds up an “e-Portfolio”, a record of their skills and accomplishments, similar to a personal website, containing details of their academic work and personal achievements (hobbies, volunteering…). In doing so you create a real “personal image communication” tool that is essential for getting a job.
Individual coaching is important to help students find internships and provide them with guidance concerning their choices. This is why the Career Services program organizes coaching sessions with specialists in career guidance and recruitment during the three years of the Bachelor’s course. “These individual coaching sessions, as well as the group workshops, are incorporated into the curriculum and result in ECTS credits, which underlines the importance that TBS Education attaches to these career support actions”, explains Florine VINCENDET, from the Career and Talent Department at TBS Education.
Every year, you are able to put these learnings into practice when looking for internships that match your personal aspirations and projects. Career Services also offers individual support or “coaching” from specialists in careers advice or recruitment. “This coaching, as well as the group workshops, are part of the course program and are graded,” explains Florine VINCENDET, coordinator of the Bachelor Career Services program. During the coaching sessions, students introduce themselves in front of their coach for 3 minutes, or via a recruitment video made using EasyRecrue. In their final year, they simulate a job interview based on a real job or internship offer and present their e-Portfolio.
TBS Education has also created a telephoning seminar in partnership with Booge (a company specializing in digital marketing, training and call centers) to familiarize students with phoning applied to job searches. After an introduction to the theory by lecturers, B1 students practise calling companies to introduce themselves and ask if the companies are hiring interns. In addition to the personal benefits for the student, these workshops, which take place in a specially equipped room within the school, enable a database to be built up that all the Bachelor students can take advantage of.
The way things are done is changing this year to meet health restrictions, in particular via remote workshops and work in smaller groups, but with help from the Educational Engineering department, this essential support service remains just as dynamic and effective.
