Avec l’ouverture de Parcoursup, le 21 décembre, vous entrez dans la dernière ligne droite pour décider de la suite de votre scolarité. Dans les semaines qui viennent, vous devrez exprimer vos choix d’orientation, décision à la fois très importante et difficile qui nécessite le temps de la réflexion. Nous souhaitons vous y aider avec cette newsletter, qui vous montre quelques spécificités du Bachelor de TBS et vous donne un avant-goût de ce qui vous attend si vous nous rejoignez l’année prochaine.

La qualité académique et l’innovation pédagogique sont au cœur de nos préoccupations. Vous en trouvez un bon exemple à travers le cours de ressources humaines proposé en début d’année qui mixait théorie et expérimentation personnelle, grâce à un dispositif de réalité virtuelle totalement novateur.

Autre axe prioritaire, l’accompagnement de nos étudiants tout au long de leur cursus, notamment pour les aider à formaliser et à concrétiser leur projet professionnel : vous découvrirez la richesse des propositions du Career Starter et son accompagnement sur mesure.

Nous vous présentons également un étudiant de 3e année, Nicolas Emmanuel, qui incarne à lui seul deux autres atouts différenciants du Bachelor : l’ouverture internationale, qu’il a expérimentée depuis Toulouse en suivant sa scolarité intégralement en anglais, et l’intensité de l’expérience étudiante dans le cadre de l’engagement associatif.

Enfin, le réseau des anciens et ses 49000 membres constituent une force inestimable. Notre nouvelle marraine de promotion, Muriel Saldana, illustre parfaitement ce lien qui perdure avec les années et l’appui que peuvent apporter nos diplômés à nos étudiants pendant leur scolarité et au-delà.

As the Parcoursup (French pre-registration system for higher education courses) platform opens on 21 December, you will be entering the final stage in deciding upon your future studies. In the coming weeks, you will have set out your choices concerning the type of studies you wish to pursue. Clearly, this is an extremely important and difficult decision, which demands time and consideration. We would like to help you through the process with this newsletter, which tells you about some of the specific features of the TBS Bachelor program and gives you a taste of what to expect, if you decide to join us next year.

Our main priority is to provide high-quality teaching and innovative educational approaches. A good example of this is the human resources course offered at the beginning of the year, which blends theory and practical experiments, using a highly innovative virtual reality system.

Another of our priorities is to provide students with support throughout their studies, in particular to help them structure and draw up their career plan: in this newsletter, you will discover the wide range of services provided by the Career Starter scheme and its tailor-made support.

We also introduce you to Nicolas Emmanuel, a 3rd year student who typifies two other standout points of our Bachelor program: its strong international dimension, which Nicolas experienced to the full in Toulouse by following his courses entirely in English, and the intensity of the student experience that comes from engagement in the School’s various associations.

Finally, the alumni network—which has 49,000 members—is an invaluable asset. Muriel Saldana, mentor of the 2021-2024 class, is a perfect example of the lasting bond that exists between the School and its students, highlighting how our alumni can provide support and advice that our students can draw upon during their studies and beyond.
