Une belle année en perspective avec le nouveau BDE !

C’est une équipe de 40 étudiants hyper motivés qui s’apprête à prendre la relève du Bureau des élèves l’année prochaine. A l’issue d’une campagne intense, le projet AnonyBach a été élu par les étudiants du Bachelor début mars. Un nom en forme de clin d’œil au célèbre groupe Anonymous, qui illustre le souhait du BDE de fédérer un maximum d’étudiants et de donner à chacun les moyens de s’intégrer et de s’épanouir dans sa vie étudiante.

Des activités originales

Le BDE, c’est l’association qui anime la vie du campus tout au long de l’année au travers de ses différents pôles : fêtes, arts, sports, événementiel, communication et développement durable. Pour l’année qui vient, le président élu, Quentin Loppart, a annonce de nombreuses activités originales. Par exemple, le bureau des arts fera venir un orchestre philharmonique dans le grand amphithéâtre pour ouvrir les étudiants à des formes de culture auxquelles ils ne sont pas forcément habitués. Le bureau des sports proposera de nouvelles disciplines comme la natation, la course à pied ou le padel. Du côté des événements, un week-end sur la côte Atlantique permettra de concilier le plaisir d’une journée d’initiation au surf et une action environnementale de ramassage des déchets sur la plage, un autre emmènera les étudiants en montagne pour un stage de survie. Et bien sûr de nombreux événements festifs et soirées contribueront à souder la communauté étudiante.

Responsabilité et citoyenneté

Quentin Loppart souligne aussi l’importance de l’engagement citoyen dans l’activité du BDE, avec des actions prévues auprès d’associations, notamment dans le domaine de la lutte contre le cancer. Parce que les messages passent toujours mieux entre jeunes, le BDE mènera aussi des actions de sensibilisation et de prévention sur des sujets de santé comme la consommation d’alcool et de stupéfiants, mais aussi sur les thématiques de l’inclusion et de la diversité, sur un ton adapté au public étudiant. Une des vraies nouveautés concerne enfin l’évolution du bureau du développement durable, qui conserve son président et sa présidente mais dont les membres sont répartis dans les autres bureaux, explique Quentin. « Nous voulons mettre de la RSE partout, pour que cette dimension soit encore mieux prise en compte dans tout ce qu’on fait. »

Une expérience intensive

Pour l’équipe du BDE, l’organisation d’un tel programme constitue une expérience inoubliable et l’occasion d’appliquer directement à un projet concret les enseignements théoriques du Bachelor. « En tant que membres du BDE, nous participons à la construction d’un projet de groupe qui ressemble beaucoup à la vie d’une entreprise : création de marque, marketing et communication, finance, gestion des ressources humaines, logistique. C’est à la fois intense, très stimulant sur le plan humain et professionnel », conclut le président. Un engagement fort qui est encadré et accompagné par TBS, et valorisé par une bonification sur la moyenne générale des étudiants.

An exciting year ahead with a newly elected student union team!

A team of 40 highly motivated students is getting ready to take over the student union next year. Following an intense campaign, the AnonyBach project was elected by Bachelor students at the beginning of March. The name is an allusion to the well-known group ‘Anonymous’, reflecting the student union’s desire to unite as many students as possible and give each one the means to join in and enjoy student life to the full.

Some original activities

The student union livens up campus life throughout the year thanks to its various activities: festivities, the arts, sport, events, communication and sustainable development. For the coming year, the elected president, Quentin Loppart, has announced many original activities. For example, the arts committee has invited a philharmonic orchestra to the main lecture theatre, the aim being to introduce students to new forms of culture to which they may not be accustomed. The sports committee will be offering new disciplines such as swimming, running and padel tennis. As regards events, a weekend away on the Atlantic coast will allow students to combine the pleasure of a day discovering surfing with the environmental action of collecting waste on the beach. During another weekend, students will be able to take part in a survival course in the mountains. And of course, numerous festive events and parties will help strengthen the sense of community among the students.

Responsibility and citizenship

Quentin Loppart also stresses the importance of civic commitment in student union activities, with actions planned in collaboration with associations, particularly concerning the fight against cancer. Since messages are always transmitted better among young people, the student union will also carry out awareness-raising and preventive actions on health issues such as the consumption of alcohol and drugs, but also on the themes of inclusion and diversity, in a tone adapted to students. One of the really new features concerns changes to the sustainable development office, which is keeping its chairperson, but whose members will be dispersed across the other offices, explains Quentin. “We want to put CSR everywhere, so that it plays an even bigger role in everything we do.” 

An intensive experience

For the student union team, organizing such a program is an unforgettable experience and an opportunity to apply the theoretical teachings of the Bachelor degree directly to a practical project. “As members of the student union, we are part of a group project that is very similar to how a company works: brand creation, marketing and communication, finance, human resource management and logistics. It is intense and very stimulating on both a human and professional level,” concludes the president. This strong commitment is supervised and supported by TBS staff, and rewarded in the form of a boosted overall average for the students.
