Alors que l’année universitaire touche bientôt à sa fin, je suis heureuse de partager avec vous cette dernière newsletter. Nous avons voulu ce lien particulier avec vous parents durant cette première année de vie étudiante de votre enfant au Bachelor. J’espère surtout qu’elle vous a été utile pour vous apporter un éclairage sur nos programmes et l’expérience vécue à TBS. Celle-ci est revenue à une certaine normalité depuis quelques semaines avec l’allègement des restrictions sanitaires, et c’est un vrai soulagement, même si, bien sûr, nous restons tous vigilants.  

Vous trouverez dans cette lettre un focus sur le stage de 8 semaines, qui constitue le point d’orgue de cette 1^re année. Nous vous présentons en particulier l’accompagnement sur mesure proposé par le Career Service pour aider les étudiants à trouver leur stage et à préparer cette première véritable expérience en entreprise.

Nous vous proposons aussi de vous projeter dès maintenant sur la 2^e année et ce moment fort du parcours au Bachelor que constitue le semestre d’expatriation. Vous découvrirez de nombreuses informations pratiques sur les tests de langue et les affectations dans les universités partenaires de TBS. Et parce que cette 2^e année trouvera aussi toute sa saveur dans les événements et animations organisés par les étudiants pour les étudiants, nous avons demandé au président du bureau des élèves récemment élu de dévoiler les grandes lignes de son programme.

Enfin, nous aimons mettre en avant des parcours d’étudiants qui nous semblent inspirants, c’est pourquoi nous vous invitons à rencontrer le président du BDE de cette année, Anton Haramburu, qui termine un cursus très riche au Bachelor et poursuivra ses études l’année prochaine dans l’une des meilleures écoles de commerce françaises.

Editorial

As the academic year comes to an end, I am happy to share this last newsletter with you. We particularly wanted this special link with you – parents – during your child’s first year as a Bachelor student. Above all, I hope it has been useful in giving you an insight into our programs and the TBS experience. Life at TBS has returned to some normality in recent weeks with the easing of health restrictions, and this is a real relief, although of course we all remain vigilant. 

This letter focuses among other things on the 8-week internship, the climax of this 1first academic year. In particular, we present the bespoke support offered by the Career Service to help students find their internships and prepare for this first real experience in a company.

We also invite you to look ahead to the second year and the highlight of the Bachelor program: the semester abroad. You will find a lot of practical information about the language tests and places available in TBS partner universities. And because this second year will also be enlivened by events and activities organized by students for other students, we have asked the recently elected president of the student union to outline his program.

Lastly, we always like to showcase students whose career paths we find inspiring, which is why we invite you to meet this year’s student union president, Anton Haramburu, who is coming to the end of a very rewarding Bachelor’s degree and will be continuing his studies next year in one of France’s top business schools.
