Student in MSc Supply Chain and Lean Management | India

Where do you come from? (Country and university) What studies have you already done, and what exact program are you doing at TBS?

I’m from Tamil Nadu, in the southern part of India. I did my Bachelor’s in Aeronautical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. Currently, I’m doing my Master of Science in Supply Chain and Lean Management at Toulouse Business school.

Why did you choose TBS over other schools?

Being an Aeronautical Engineer, to live in the Mecca of the Aerospace Industry, Toulouse is a dream come true, and finding that Toulouse had a business school with strong relationships with industries as well as being triple accredited was just the icing on the cake. So I was not at all pendulous in choosing TBS as my study destination.

How has your integration into TBS gone? What do you feel after your first few weeks at TBS? Are there any services/support which helped you? Any events you particularly enjoyed? Any difficulties you experienced?

The services and the help that I have received from TBS were phenomenal. Right from the visa process to opening a bank account. Things were so transparent and they made all the formalities super easy. TBS has super talented people working in their International Student Services department who take care of each and every student and they are available at any time for help and assistance. The Boost Event organized for the entrepreneurs was also really great. Everything is going smooth and steady here.

So far, what do you appreciate about Toulouse: the people, the town, the School etc.?

Toulouse has a lot of highlighting feathers in its pleasant crown. Best among them is the people. They are really genuine and helpful right from stopping their vehicles for a pedestrian to helping foreign people in public places to overcome the language barrier. I really appreciate their respect to humanity. The town is good and for an Indian it is much less populated than at home. And last not but not the least the environment of TBS is very pleasant, it is surrounded by a park and has a metro station at a walkable distance.

What advice would you give to a future incoming international student?

For upcoming students I’d suggest to make use of the services offered by TBS before coming here, all your questions are answered right from the academic to accommodation. You can do ground work on your syllabus, this will increase your confidence level before the classes get started and increase your level of French language which will be make it easier to mingle with the local people. All the best everyone, if you would like to increase your business skills then click on the Apply now tab on TBS website. Good luck!
