Staff Mobility

The Erasmus+ program aims to modernize and improve higher education throughout Europe and the rest of the world. There are different types of staff mobility. You can refer to the agency's website ERASMUS+ France - Education Training: http://www.agence-erasmus.fr/page/mobilite-superieur

Mobility for training

As a staff member of Toulouse Business School, Erasmus+ gives you the opportunity to participate in training mobility within an institution, company or training center located in another European country.

The scholarship allows staff members to carry out professional development activities, including workshops organized by companies.

Toulouse Business School (and, in this case, the HR department and management) will select staff members who can benefit from an Erasmus+ training scholarship. The funding is open to all nationalities.

It should be noted that there are a limited number of scholarships granted annually by the European Commission. Please consult the International Mobility Service for more information.

Framework of possible trainings: a specific period of training / internship / or shadowing, within a company or institution of higher education (including structured courses and language training). Conferences are ineligible.

The home institution and the host institution / enterprise must approve the program of activities of the invited staff member (via the mobility agreement) before the start of the mobility period.

The total duration of the mobility period must be at least 2 days.

Before you leave, it is necessary to complete the "mobility kit for personnel" transmitted by the International Mobility Service. This document must be signed by three parties: TBS Staff Member, TBS Management and the host institution. Original signatures are mandatory.

At the end of your stay, staff members and the host institution must sign the certificate of attendance which will be given to the staff member by the International Mobility Service of TBS.

Upon your return, you will receive an email from the European Commission containing a link to the final report. Staff members have 30 days following receipt of this email to complete this report. Completion and submission of this online report is mandatory.

Staff members will also have to transmit to the International Mobility Service the original receipts of all expenses related to the mobility: airline ticket (boarding pass), train ticket, meals, accommodation...

It is essential to apply for a European health insurance card from the CPAM. It is free and valid for 1 year. You can apply for it online; it takes a minimum 3 weeks to receive. http://www.ameli.fr/

If you have any questions about public insurance or the TBS private mutual, please contact the HR department.

The Rules for financing an ERASMUS+ mobility

The Erasmus+ grant should be considered as a subsidy; it contributes to the cost of the mobility, but is not intended to cover the full costs of the projects. Beneficiary institutions are encouraged to seek alternative sources of funding (co-financing).

The European subsidy partially covers:

  • management of the project (budget "organization of mobility");
  • the mobility of the participants, in the form of a monthly (student) or daily (personal) rate depending on the country of destination;
  • travel costs for staff, based on kilometric distance;
  • any specific needs, at actual costs (reserved for individuals with disabilities).

Special financial provisions are foreseen for so-called "ultra-peripheral" regions (including the Overseas Countries and Territories).

TBS will provide the staff member a financial envelope with a daily allowanced calculated based on the duration of the activity and the country of destination;
