Responsible & Sustainable Development
TBS set up a partnership with La Poste Groupe in 2008. Since 2013, our partner has been supporting the Community Service Educational Initiative which requires each student at Toulouse Business School to perform 35 hours of Community Service work.
Each year, our Responsible & Sustainable Development partnership also supports the French National Students Conference on Sustainable Development. This event brings together students from Engineering Schools, Business Schools and Universities to discuss and share their initiatives in favor of sustainable development and to promote the implementation of innovative practices. Two prizes (of €1000 each) are awarded for the two best projects for the coming year. The event is sponsored by Fidal law firm.
As an organisation which brings together over 4,000 people and as a school which trains decision-makers of the future, Toulouse Business School aims to raise awareness among its staff and students concerning sustainable development.
Established in 2008, this partnership was originally based on the Young Entrepreneur MBA Program. The aim was to create a training program which focused on management issues specific to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Since 2012, this partnership has evolved to support the TBSeeds business incubator: an initiative which assists 12 start-up ventures a year, and enables many other students to fine-tune their entrepreneurial projects.
This partnership brings together companies that support the MSc Community Management Master's Program, the first of its kind in France. The corporate donations are allocated as study grants. The grants are assigned to students in the MSc. program, who are selected according to the quality and suitability of their profile. Thanks to this corporate solidarity, the selected students study for free. By participating in our Digital Marketing Partnership, companies have the opportunity to actively contribute to the training of their future Community Management Executives!
The companies are also asked to help draft case studies, in collaboration with the teaching teams. The results of the case study are presented to a group during strategic workshops at the end of each semester. The innovative workshops are genuine reverse mentoring actions during which TBS students take on the role of teachers. The knowledge and experience acquired as regards these new digital marketing issues are pooled together in our specialized TBS research laboratory.
Strategic Management in SMEs - KPMG
Established in 2013, the aim of this partnership is to observe strategic management practices in SMEs. Through taught modules, students gain an insight into the world of SMEs, and are encouraged to think about how standard management practices can be transferred to this business environment. Through joint research carried out by KPMG and TBS teams, the partnership aims to identify the best strategic management practices for SMEs. In 2014, the scope of companies was extended to include associations in the health and socio-medical sector, as well as health clinics.
In 2011, Toulouse Business School and the MEDICA Group formed a partnership to train and integrate high-level management teams in health-care and socio-medical organizations, as well as in major industrial health-care companies. Two Specialized Master’s programs have been developed to support this objective: Management of Healthcare & Social Structures/Healthcare Industries. These courses provide students with hands-on skills that facilitate their employability and promote the creation of research projects.
